(WESTPORT, CT - March 11, 1998) - Mecklermedia Corporation (Nasdaq: MECK) today will launch Netsearcher.com - the first vertical search engine for Internet professionals - at Spring Internet World '98. Mecklermedia and Lycos will hold a joint press conference on Wednesday, March 11th, 2:30 PM (PST), Los Angeles Convention Center, Room 405. Netsearcher.com is the only search engine that focuses on topics related to the Internet industry.
