(WESTPORT, CT - January 26, 1999) - internet.com LLC today announced that it acquired BotSpot.com. The site is now part of the expanding internet.com Network of Web sites. Terms were not disclosed.BotSpot.com is an award-winning resource and metasite for "bots," intelligent agents, knowledge discovery, and artificial intelligence applications on the Internet -these are the newest technology tools that automate the process of retrieving and organizing information, making online searches easier and more precise.
