INTERNET.COM, THE E-BUSINESS AND INTERNET TECHNOLOGY NETWORK, ACQUIRES SWYNK.COM AND REFER-IT.COM WEB SITES

(WESTPORT, CT-April 8, 1999)-internet.com LLC today announced that it acquired Swynk.com and Refer-it.com . Both sites are now part of the expanding internet.com (http://www.internet.com) Network of Web sites and related Internet media properties. Terms were not disclosed.

Swynk.com is a leading provider of high-end technical information, resources, and tools for Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) software developers and administrators. The site is the leading place on the Web to find comprehensive information on SQL Servers, SMS and other BackOffice products.

Refer-it.com is a leading search engine for revenue-sharing affiliate programs. Refer-it's database includes descriptions and ratings of over 500 affiliate and bounty programs, including those offered by Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN), CDNow (Nasdaq: CDNW), and Barnes & Noble (NYSE: BKS). Additionally, the site provides program managers extensive database tools to monitor click-throughs and update their listings in real-time.
