Job Title:		Web Development Internship (unpaid, for Academic Credit only)
Location:		New York, NY
		mediabistro.com seeks a Web Developer intern with strong application and database development skills to assist and learn from our technical team. This person will work closely with our Web Development team, assisting with projects that may include researching and prototyping new web products that will increase the value of membership or improve usability to the site.
The ideal intern candidate should possess the following:		Experience with one or more programming languages, such as ASP/ASP.NET (C#, VBScript, JScript), PHP, Java, C++/C Experience with HTML, CSS, and Javascript Attention to detail and ability to work independently Understanding and enthusiasm in social-media tools, community-driven platforms, and Web 2.0 culture a plus You MUST be able to receive academic credit for this internship
