INTERNET.COM'S AFFILIATE SOLUTIONS CONFERENCE TO BE HELD IN LONDON, ENGLAND WITH BERTELSMANN ONLINE'S ERNST BOESCH AS KEYNOTE SPEAKER

(New York, NY - March 30, 2000) - Bertelsmann Online International Vice President of Marketing & Branding Ernst Boesch will keynote internet.com's Affiliate Solutions 2000 (http://seminars.internet.com) on April 26 at May Fair Inter-Continental Hotel in London, England, internet.com announced today. Bertelsmann Online is one of the top three e-commerce services in Europe and is a leader in affiliate marketing.

Affiliate Solutions 2000 explores affiliate marketing, a type of Internet marketing pioneered by Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN), and utilized by industry leaders BarnesandNoble.com (Nasdaq: BNBN), eToys, Travelocity, Music Boulevard, Reel.com and American Greetings. The event, which is presented by internet.com, The Internet Industry Portal (http://www.internet.com), is co-sponsored by Refer-it.com, Commission Junction, iMeditation, MagicButton.net, 404 Found! and FastPartner.com. The event will include panel discussions, workshops, exhibits and a networking reception. Affiliate Solutions 2000 will also be held in New York City and San Francisco during the year.

"There are thousands of affiliate marketing programs available on the Web. Affiliate Solutions assembles the collective expertise of the leading players in the field to explore this next evolution in online advertising -- an industry that analysts predict will be a multibillion dollar business," said internet.com chairman and CEO Alan M. Meckler.

Bertelsmann Online (BOL.com) is one of the world's leading online retailers of books and music with online stores in Germany, France, United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland. Boesch joined BOL International as Vice President of Marketing & Branding in January 1999 and is responsible for the international coordination of all online and offline marketing and retention activities, as well as the development and implementation of BOL's global branding strategy. BOL.com's Affiliate Program has been tremendously successful in gaining widespread recognition among Web site owners who earn commissions for purchases made via links from their sites.

Other speakers confirmed for the event include executives from e-commerce giants Dynamic Trade, Hotelguide.com, Proflowers.com, ukaffiliates.com, BeFree and Linkshare.
