The introduction of the ASP Resources Channel is sponsored by Interliant (http://www.interliant.com).

"In order to serve the informational needs of our growing audience of Internet professionals, we constantly monitor shifts and developments in the Internet industry and have responded by making a number of acquisitions in the important Wireless and ASP content areas," said internet.com chairman and CEO Alan M. Meckler.

Site Launches:
BSDToday.com (http://www.bsdtoday.com) serves the BSD user community and is the Daily Source for BSD News and Information, while ApacheToday.com (http://www.apachetoday.com) was developed to serve the community of Apache open source software users. This site, which is part of the Internet Lists Channel, has Verio Corporation (http://www.verio.com) as its launch sponsor.

"While we have generally exhibited a 'buy vs. build' strategy in growing our vertical Internet industry content channels, we will continue to fill our users' demand for new content with internally developed sites if the specific area is not being well served. These site launches are excellent examples of this approach," added Meckler.
