INTERNET.COM EXPANDS INTERNATIONAL PRESENCE WITH LAUNCH OF NEWZEALAND.INTERNET.COM AND A JOINT VENTURE IN TURKEY

(NEW YORK, NY-June 27, 2000)-As part of its ongoing international expansion, internet.com (Nasdaq: INTM), the Internet Industry Portal, today unveiled a new international business-to-business portal for the Internet industry-newzealand.internet.com (http://nz.internet.com) and announced a joint venture for a future launch in Turkey. These sites will be incorporated into internet.com's growing portfolio of global properties, which will consist of 18 international editions with the eventual launch of turkey.internet.com.

"internet.com is the number one information portal for the Internet industry throughout the world. We will continue to build the internet.com brand through internal development and alliances in international markets," said internet.com Chairman and CEO Alan M. Meckler. "New Zealand and Turkey further extend our reach following editions in Asia, Europe, Australia and many other countries around the globe."

In addition to local Internet industry reporting, nz.internet.com (http://nz.internet.com) will carry a full complement of international news, industry links, specialized directories for Internet and IT professionals, along with sections on finance, Web development, e-commerce and product releases. The Web site launch will be accompanied by several targeted e-mail newsletters.

The Internet industry in New Zealand has doubled in size over the past two years with an increasing number of businesses making a serious foray into e-commerce. According to the research group IDC, by the end of 2000 there will be more than 1.1 million Kiwis using the Internet. Earlier predictions of 1.9 million users by the year 2003 are now considered conservative.

internet.com has appointed Keith Newman as managing editor of its New Zealand portal. Newman, a journalist with 30 years of experience including 13 years of writing for mainstream media companies on information technology, says "the arrival of the new Internet Industry Portal is a vote of confidence that the world is watching what goes on here. I am proud to be creating and managing the content for this site."

internet.com also announced that it has entered into a joint venture with Intervizyon, Inc. of Istanbul, Turkey. The two companies will combine efforts for a future launch of turkey.internet.com which will be offered in the Turkish language. According to the research group Lazard Brothers, the Internet industry in Turkey has grown from 1.5 million users in 1999 to 4.5 million so far in the year 2000. Intervizyon, Inc. currently operates the Intervizyon.com (http://www.intervizyon.com/english/) network of Web sites as a portal site in Turkey. The expected launch date for turkey.internet.com is August 1, 2000.
