INT MEDIA GROUP LAUNCHES 802.11 TRADE SHOWS AND COMPANION WEB SITE FOCUSED ON LEADING WIRELESS STANDARD

(New York, NY- June 27, 2001)-- INT Media Group, Incorporated (Nasdaq: INTM) today announced 802.11 PLANET, the first trade show in the world focused on the business strategies associated with the 802.11 wireless standard sometimes known as Wi-Fi. The event will take place for the first time at the Santa Clara Convention Center on October 2-3, 2001.

"802.11 and all of its tangents are set for explosive growth. It is the leading broadband wireless technology that's connecting people to the Internet in the workplace, at home and on the road." stated Alan M. Meckler, Chairman and CEO of INT Media Group. "Up to now, one can find parts of 802.11 covered by various wireless events across the USA, but nowhere can one find a single event that is 100% focused on this dynamic business. We are filling this void for the marketplace."

The launch of 802.11 PLANET marks the return of Alan Meckler and his experienced management team to the trade show business. This team built Internet World, which was named "the fastest growing trade show in the world" by TradeShow Week magazine and was subsequently sold in 1998. INT Media Group currently is best known for its internet.com network of Web sites that includes the recently acquired EarthWeb content focused on information technology. "INT Media Group has successfully launched several seminar programs in recent months in addition to the recent acquisition of its Intermedia Group events unit" stated Meckler. "Now we are moving into the trade show arena and will offer our millions of unique visitors and e-mail newsletter subscribers original online content, through both free and premium subscription services, along with a variety of complementary offline events focused on the Internet industry and IT."

In addition to the launch of 802.11 PLANET as a trade show, INT Media Group also announced today the launch of its Web site by the same name - www.80211planet.com. "The combination of the Web site, our over 500,000 daily wireless channel page views and the new trade show are a winning formula for success in the 802.11 information field," added Meckler.
