(Nasdaq: INTM) today announced that in light of the September 11 tragedy, it has rescheduled its 802.11 PLANET Fall 2001 Conference & Expo, which was to be held at the Santa Clara Convention Center on October 2-3, 2001. The event has been moved to November 27-28, 2001 at the same venue. 802.11 PLANET is the first trade show in the world focused on the business strategies associated with the 802.11 wireless standard sometimes known as Wi-Fi. The show has attracted exhibitors and attendees from leading wireless companies and has also received official endorsement from the Wireless Ethernet Compatibility Alliance (WECA).
