(New York, NY - October 2, 2001) - INT Media Group, Incorporated (Nasdaq: INTM) today announced the release of its latest report from its CyberAtlas Research division. "Internet Advertising: Where Are We Now?" is an in-depth report that analyzes the state of the Internet advertising industry. Hundreds of advertising professionals shared their opinions with CyberAtlas Research in order to determine how far Internet advertising has come and where it is headed. "Internet advertising has been hampered by a soft overall advertising market and high expectations. Like radio and television in their formative years, Internet advertising is going through a trial-and-error period. Our study found that advertising professionals believe in the effectiveness of Internet advertising and will keep working it into their media plans," said Michael J. Pastore, CyberAtlas Research Senior Analyst and Editor of CyberAtlas (

Despite current market conditions, online advertising has not been abandoned in favor of more traditional advertising media. The many advertising opportunities presented by the Internet are currently viewed as being inexpensive and effective.
