INT MEDIA GROUP ANNOUNCES IT INFRASTRUCTURE & MANAGEMENT SERVICES CONFERENCE & EXPO

Westboro, MA - August 13, 2002 - INT Media Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: INTM) today announced the launch of the IT Infrastructure & Management Services Conference & Expo, to be held April 15-16, 2003 at the Boston Park Plaza in Boston, MA. The conference is the only industry event focusing on how organizations can reduce IT costs and increase IT service quality through selective IT infrastructure, operations and management sourcing and services.

The conference tracks are:

  • The Business Case for Selective Services and Sourcing,
  • Infrastructure and Operations Sourcing,
  • Application Management Services, and
  • Governance and Quality Assurance.

According to David Schatsky, conference co-chairman and Research Director & Senior Analyst for Jupiter Research, "The infrastructure, management and operations sourcing and services market is set to benefit directly from companies' desire to simplify their infrastructure and consolidate technology investments. More than 60 percent of companies that have between six and 20 externally facing Web sites, for example, plan to consolidate at least one or more of their core application platforms this year. Sourcing and service provisioning is appealing when cost control is paramount. By sourcing their IT infrastructure, management and operations, businesses can cut costs, as well as focus on their core business competencies to generate revenue and increase marketshare."

According to Dan Kara, VP of Sponsored Events, INT Media Group, "The IT infrastructure, operations and management services and sourcing market is not being specifically supported by any other event, yet currently it is one of the fastest growing and most profitable markets in IT. Companies offering solutions in this space are having difficulties branding themselves and selling their offerings to management level IT and business executives within mid-to-large enterprises, or the e-Business arms of the same. Until now, business and technical managers had nowhere to turn to learn about trends in the infrastructure and management services market and the many solutions that are available. INT Media Group's IT Infrastructure & Management Services Conference & Expo is specifically designed to meet the needs of both groups - solution providers, as well as IT and business managers."
