JUPITER RESEARCH TO LAUNCH 802.11 MOBILITY RESEARCH SERVICE

(New York, NY - December 5, 2002) - Jupitermedia Corporation (Nasdaq: JUPM) announced today at the Jupitermedia 802.11 Planet Conference & Expo in Santa Clara, California that its Jupiter Research division would launch a new service in early 2003 called 802.11 Mobility. This unique service will help businesses understand adoption patterns of new wireless platforms to maximize the revenue opportunities. It will also help enterprises to effectively deploy 802.11 technology, lower adoption costs and TCO, maximize ROI on a per project basis, and avoid the mistakes that can lead to higher costs, security breeches and other pitfalls.

"The launch of our new 802.11 Mobility research service, along with our daily editorial coverage of this new technology on 802.11-Planet.com and our world tour of our 802.11 Planet trade shows demonstrates how Jupitermedia is the leading provider of information about this booming new technology," stated Alan M. Meckler, Chairman and CEO of Jupitermedia.

"This exciting new service continues to demonstrate Jupiter Research's unsurpassed leadership role in covering the critical areas of technology and making it accessible and relevant to business users," stated Jupiter Research Director, Michael Gartenberg. "Not since the earliest days of the Internet have we seen a technology capable of creating such positive disruption and change and we expect that 802.11 and its derivatives will only increase in importance over the next five years," said Gartenberg.

Covering the leading vendors for the 802.11 hardware and software marketplace, Jupiter Research's 802.11 Mobility research service will help companies prepare for the market opportunities created by new wireless LAN technologies. The 802.11 Mobility research service will use consumer and executive IT surveys, online analysis, case studies and usage models. Clients of the service will discover which companies are most likely to succeed in capturing the marketplace, how these technologies will be deployed and who will be deploying them.
