JUPITERMEDIA ANNOUNCES IBM AS CORNERSTONE SPONSOR FOR ITS ENTERPRISE LINUX FORUM CONFERENCE & EXPO TO BE HELD JUNE 4-6 IN SANTA CLARA

(New York, NY - April 17, 2003) - Jupitermedia Corporation (Nasdaq: JUPM) today announced that IBM has signed on as the Cornerstone Sponsor for its upcoming Enterprise Linux Forum Conference & Expo, to be held June 4-6, 2003 at the Santa Clara Convention Center in Santa Clara, California.

"We are pleased to announce that IBM has joined with Jupitermedia to bring IT and business professionals the only industry event dedicated to providing an understanding of all the issues and benefits related to the application of Linux and Linux-based datacenter solutions in the enterprise," stated Alan M. Meckler, Chairman and CEO of Jupitermedia. "While there are other Linux industry events, they are usually unfocused and don't specifically address the needs of enterprise managers," he added.

Featured keynote speakers for Enterprise Linux Forum Conference & Expo include Dan Kusnetzky, Vice President of System Software Research for IDC, and Daniel A. Powers, Vice President of Grid Computing Strategy for IBM. The conference is specifically designed to educate management level attendees and covers how Linux and Linux-based datacenter solutions can be applied in the enterprise in six tracks, which include: Operations, Management and Infrastructure; Clustered, Grid and High-Performance Computing; Linux Application Development; Linux in Vertical Markets; Linux Storage and Database Management; and Special Interests.

In addition to IBM as the Cornerstone Sponsor, additional sponsors and exhibitors for Enterprise Linux Forum Conference & Expo include Computer Associates, Sun Microsystems, BMC Software, Egenera, LinuxJournal.com, POGO Linux, Cylant, Aduva, Force10 Networks, Bugopolis, GenaWare, Interloci Network Management, 3Ware, Ximian, GNOME Foundation and Linux Terminal Server Project. The Analyst Sponsor of the event is Jupiter Research. Enterprise Linux Forum Conference & Expo is hosted by Enterprise Linux Today, LinuxToday.com and internet.com, and is produced by Jupitermedia Corporation.
