JUPITERMEDIA ANNOUNCES MOVE INTO DIGITAL RIGHTS MANAGEMENT COVERAGE WITH ACQUISITION OF DRMWATCH.COM
(New York, NY - October 28, 2003) - Jupitermedia Corporation (Nasdaq: JUPM) today announced that it has acquired the Web site and e-mail newsletter assets associated with DRMwatch.com (www.drmwatch.com), a leading resource for information about Digital Rights Management (DRM), from GiantSteps Media Technology Strategies and its principal Bill Rosenblatt. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Jupitermedia will also start a trade show in the Digital Rights Management area and its Jupiter Research division will shortly be launching a research practice covering DRM issues."Digital Rights Management is clearly the number one issue effecting media companies of all stripes.
