JUPITERMEDIA ANNOUNCES ACQUISITION OF INSIDE ID TRADE SHOW AND WEB SITE COVERING EMERGING IDENTITY MANAGEMENT INDUSTRY

(New York, NY - March 31, 2004) - Jupitermedia Corporation (Nasdaq: JUPM), today announced the acquisition of the Inside ID Conferences & Expos (www.insideid.com), industry-leading events focused on the rapidly evolving areas of identity management and identification technologies. Noted industry expert Benjamin Miller, who founded the Inside ID events and Web site, will continue as conference chair of the events. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

"We are pleased to add the Inside ID Conference & Expo to our rapidly growing events division," stated Alan M. Meckler, Chairman and CEO of Jupitermedia. "Identity management and ID technology are high growth topics for business and government and, with this acquisition, we believe that we now own one of the more important trade shows in the field. We plan to increase the number of Inside ID events in North America and around the world, and will use the Inside ID brand to increase our online editorial presence in the security field," added Meckler.

"The evolution of the networked society presents a staggering challenge for organizations of all types to know who they are dealing with, whether it is across the counter or across cyberspace," stated Inside ID conference chair Ben Miller. "The Inside ID events strive to help define this emerging discipline of identity management through world-class educational programs and solutions-oriented exhibitions. Being part of Jupitermedia and having access to its vast resources and expertise is very exciting and will immediately extend our reach and allow us to build upon our vision," added Miller.

Inside ID covers some of the most pressing challenges of our uncertain world including: digital identity, homeland security, identity theft and financial transaction fraud. The events and Web site provide forums for interaction among diverse constituencies dealing with sensitive issues including privacy, cross-credentialing, and federated identification, as well as solution-enabling technologies such public key cryptography (PKI), biometrics, RFID and smart cards.

The next Inside ID Conference & Expo will be held November 15-17, 2004 at the Washington D.C. Convention Center in Washington, D.C. In 2005, Jupitermedia will produce a Spring event in June in San Jose, CA, in addition to the annual Fall event in Washington D.C.
