WebMediaBrands' Mediabistro Announces Acquisition of European Semantic Technology Conference
New York, NY - February 23, 2011 - Mediabistro.com (a division of WebMediaBrands Inc., Nasdaq: WEBM) today announced that it has acquired the trade show and related assets of the European Semantic Technology Conference ("ESTC") from Semantic Technology Institute International ("STI International") of Vienna, Austria. Alexander Wahler, John Davies and STI will continue as consultants to ESTC. The European Semantic Technology Conference is the biggest industry trade show focusing on Semantic Technology in Europe. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
