internet.com Appoints New West Coast Business Development Executive

(WESTPORT, CT - July 12, 1999) - internet.com (Nasdaq: INTM), the E-business and Internet Technology Network, today announced the appointment of Kirk Holland as Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Holland joins internet.com from U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray's Internet Media and Technology Group. Mr. Holland's role will involve initiating and executing future acquisitions and strategic relationships as well as helping internet.com's Venture Capital Fund. Mr. Holland will also be responsible for further developing internet.com's West coast organization.

Prior to joining internet.com, Mr. Holland was an Investment Banker in U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray's Internet Media and Technology Group, where he was involved in equity offerings and mergers and acquisitions for Internet and software companies. He also brings more than five years of experience in technology and operations management roles from other organizations including Procter & Gamble. Mr. Holland earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington in 1991 and an MBA from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business in 1998.
