internet.com Acquires Web Developer's Journal Web Site; Acquisition Solidifies internet.com's Market Leading Position in Web Developer Resources

(WESTPORT, CT - July 22, 1999) - internet.com (Nasdaq: INTM), The E-business and Internet Technology Network, today announced that it acquired the UK-based Web Developer's Journal (http://www.webdevelopersjournal.com) Web site. The site is a leading provider of news and reviews about Web development tools, techniques and trends, and will be incorporated into internet.com's Network of Web site properties. Terms were not disclosed.

"The Web Developer's Journal is one of the last independent sites dedicated to Web development professionals and complements our leading collection of Web developer resources," said Alan M.
